Oil and vinegar works well with more than just dressings. A vinaigrette is great as a vegatable dip, a marinade, and also a baste. Use quality olive oil that is cold pressed and usually imported from Spain or Italy. For a balsamic, use a Modena produced vinegar for best flavor and taste.
